**Summary:**

1. **Groundbreaking Dental Procedure** : For the first time, an AI-controlled robot performed an entire dental procedure on a human patient, completing the task eight times faster than a human dentist.

2. **Advanced Technology** : Developed by Perceptive, the system uses a 3D volumetric scanner that employs optical coherence tomography (OCT) to create detailed models of the mouth without harmful X-rays. The robot can automatically detect cavities with 90% accuracy.

3. **Efficient and Precise** : The robot specializes in preparing teeth for dental crowns, a procedure that typically takes two hours and multiple visits, but the robot completes it in just 15 minutes. Although not yet FDA-approved, this technology promises a significant leap in dental care efficiency.
