There are many convenient online password managers which are paid and keep all of  
your devices ready for automated logins. Those are great for personal security, and millions of  
people are safely using them.

However, protecting your passwords offline will definitely decrease the chances of getting leaked.

KeePassXC is an open-source password manager that does not synchronize content to the  
internet. You never need to store your passwords on a remote server. Your credentials are stored locally in AES-256-encrypted database files that can only be decrypted using the correct password.

+1 to this password manager. I am using it since 2018. It is one of the best privacy friendly local password manager with good protection. Just keep the database file backup safe somewhere else.
