I read almost 20 times but still doesn’t understand how to do it. I have 70GB space available in my Mega Account the file I want to do cloud import is of 1.5 TB. How do I do that. Can anyone explain me briefly.
Not sure if this is old news (if it is, Mods/Admins, please delete this post) but I found a great way to bypass Mega.nz quota for free users.
I used this with JDownloader 2 and MegaSync (Desktop).
I tried with Mega on browser but I keep getting the files transfered to MegaSync so I am not too sure about this.
The idea is to use the free VPN giveaways found in this forum.
I just got one of them recently and tried it with the two apps indicated above.
You just need to:
- Get the VPN Subscription for 6 months
- Close the apps
- Open the VPN and set to wherever you want
- Reopen the apps
- Download all you want.
I have so far gotten 25GB out of them ![]()
Hey, 1hackers
Note: This method is for jio users only, but I will explain so try that same method it might work with your sim also.
I just, tried downloading directly from mega in google chrome, my file size was 16 gb splitted into several parts, so you guys know mega will ask quota when you reach 5gb limit.
The, method is easy :-
Jio, sim automatically gets a new ip address when you switch on and off airplane mode.
It is very clear, once you hit download quota limit. Just turn on airplane mode and turn off airplane mode. It will get new IP address, and you can continue downloading with mega. Also, it works with resumable files. Once you get a new ip address, even if your download is stuck half, just refresh your tab and continue downloading.
Easy and Pessy guys. I hope you like it and will benefit if you are not a mega premium user.
This is the staff reply :
Thank you for using MEGA!
If you are using more than the permitted storage quota, your ability to upload new files will be suspended and you will start to receive multiple deletion email warnings from MEGA as well as pop-up warnings when you use our products, so you have a chance to save your files locally or purchase a Pro account: https://mega.nz/pro
If after 30 days you haven’t reduced your storage usage, or accrued or purchased more quota, the files in your Rubbish Bin will be deleted and if your account still remains over your allowed storage quota we will block your access to your files.
If within the next 45 days you do not purchase a Pro account with sufficient quota to cover the amount of storage you are using, MEGA will be entitled to delete your stored files without further notice to you.

mega has updated their terms and policies.. so I think this trick is not useful anymore.
