### **🔧 Common Telegram Access Issues & Fixes**

**1. DNS-Based Blocking:**
In many cases, **ISPs block Telegram using DNS filtering**. The fix is simple:

**2. Throttling via DPI (Deep Packet Inspection):**
Some regions use DPI to **throttle encrypted Telegram traffic** , even without direct blocks. Two powerful ways around this:

- Use **Psiphon Pro VPN** – available on Android, Windows, and more.

- Use **Snowflake Proxy (via Tor)**:

**3. Using Telegram’s Internal Proxy Settings:**
Telegram supports **MTProto Proxy** , which can be set up without third-party apps:

- Open Telegram \> Settings \> Data and Storage \> Proxy Settings

- Use an MTProto server. Many are listed on public aggregators like:

**4. VPN Solutions That Work for Telegram:**
Some users noted success using the following VPNs even in tough regions:

### **🌐 Region-Specific Tips**

**Pakistan & Some Middle Eastern Countries:**

- Telegram Web may not open unless used with **1.1.1.1 DNS** or **ProtonVPN**.
- **Cloudflare Warp** (mobile app) often unblocks Telegram completely.

These methods are routinely updated and field-tested by users in high-censorship regions. Whether you’re facing slow loading, full blocks, or DPI interference, this guide gives you everything you need to **restore full Telegram access reliably**.

### 💡 Additional Tips from Users:

- Restart your **Wi-Fi router** after changing DNS to flush cached IP routes.
- If you’re on a **shared network** (school, work), try using **mobile hotspot** or a **VPN** app like [ProtonVPN](https://protonvpn.com) or [Psiphon](https://psiphon.ca/).
- Ensure your **network admin** hasn’t blocked Telegram via firewall rules or deep packet inspection (DPI).
