It only saves the file as DNF. How can I download it as an MP3 file? I can’t find any setting that lets me change the output format. edit: If you want to save files in other formats such as MP3, M4A, FLAC, OGG, or OPUS, use version 3.2 and do not update. Starting with the versions after 3.2, the files are saved as DNF files, which are basically useless. You can only play DNF files on a computer using Dannify. ---

Finally gave this a spin after the thread kept getting bumped — the UI really is as clean as everyone says, and 24 MB for something this polished is impressive. On the DNF vs MP3 question: since the dev flagged v3.2 as having critical security issues, I’d stay on the current build rather than downgrade. A practical workaround in the meantime is checking whether your media player handles the DNF files directly — VLC tends to play formats most players choke on, so it might just work as-is until the official export update lands. ---

I’ve been in the same boat for years — Spotify for discovery, but a folder of old FLAC rips I keep going back to, and switching between two apps is just friction. The unified library is what caught my eye here. Honest question: when you save a track as a real file, what’s the source quality for YouTube Music streams? I assume it’s limited to whatever the stream offers, not true lossless. And does the Wi-Fi library sync keep play counts, or is it read-only on the phone? Curious to try the Spotify link paste first. ---
