iCloud offers both convenience and peace of mind by storing your important files, photos, and other digital assets on Apple’s servers so you can access them from anywhere. All of this data can take up quite a bit of space. Fortunately, it’s a fairly straightforward procedure to delete apps from iCloud if you know which steps to take. > **NOTE** : Instructions in this article apply to iOS devices, macOS computers, and Windows devices. ### How to Delete Apps From iCloud on iOS (iPad, iPhone, iPod touch) 1. Tap the **Settings** icon, located on your device’s Home Screen. 2. Select your name, located near the top of the **Settings** interface. 3. Tap **iCloud**. 4. Tap **Manage Storage**. 5. Your iCloud Storage settings should now be visible. Tap **Backups**. 6. In the Backups section will be a list of all devices tied to your iCloud account. Select the device containing the apps you wish to delete. If you want to delete apps from more than one device, you’ll need to repeat these steps accordingly. 7. Tap **Show All Apps** , located in the **Choose Data to Back Up** section. 8. Locate the name of the app that you wish to delete from iCloud, then tap the on/off toggle accompanying it. 9. A message will appear towards the bottom of the screen, asking if you want to turn off backups for this particular app and delete its related data from iCloud. You’re done. ### Delete Apps From iCloud on macOS 1. Click the **Apple** icon, located in the upper left-hand corner of your screen. 2. When the drop-down menu appears, click **System Preferences**. 3. macOS’s System Preferences dialog should now be displayed, overlaying your desktop. Click the **iCloud** icon. 4. If prompted, enter your Apple ID and password to continue. You may also be asked to enter a verification code that was sent to one of your other devices. 5. The main iCloud interface should now be displayed. Click the **Manage** button, located in the lower right-hand corner of the window. 6. The Manage Storage screen will now appear. Locate the desired app in the left menu pane, then click it once to select it. 7. Click **Delete Documents and Data** , removing all files from your iCloud Backup associated with the app in question.
