i was looking for discount offers there i find offers on like stuffs that so called banned on school premises and they are bluntly offering… i find it bizare like hustler Hollywood etc and more.

You recently had an email from an outside service blocked. Unfortunately, due to repeated abuse of our systems we have had to block access to, and email from, many online services not related to being an STLCC student, especially those that offer free or discounted service to those with a “.edu” email. This only applies to those students who have not yet enrolled in classes. Within 24 hours of enrolling in your first class, these limitations are automatically removed from your account, usually by the next morning and sometimes sooner. After that, your email account will fully act as you would expect. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. The only issue is that the university has blocked all acceptance emails from figma, cursor etc which uses sheer id and anything relevant to it.

It was easy to get the @my.stlcc.edu e-mail, but when attempting to register at GitHub instead of receiving an e-mail with a code to finish the registration I received this:

Almost 5 hours since I created it, and I haven’t received the email. Do we need to specify as US citizen and ssn?

Okay so there is a problem. You wont be able to get the Github verification email in the outlook using that edu email due to that GOAL activity, and as far as I understand, we will need to wait for 24hours to lift that restriction or limit access. Hey Pirate man, what can you say about this?

got it. but the email for verification is being blocked in outlook could not verify for cursor and Figma

Please teach me how to claim the Free GitHub Developer Resources for Students using an .edu email address.

I would really appreciate it if you could explain the full process step by step, including how to verify the student status and activate the benefits.

If there are any important requirements or common mistakes to avoid during the application process, please let me know as well.

first approved mail got witnin a minute and got second email with email ID and other detail approx in a hour. I applied for two 1 got on hold where I select US citizen.
