**Summary:**

1. **Exclusive Agreement** : Google has secured exclusive rights to surface Reddit search results, making it the only search engine to access one of the web’s richest sources of user-generated content. Other search engines like Bing, DuckDuckGo, and Mojeek are no longer able to crawl Reddit for recent results.

2. **Impact on Competitors** : DuckDuckGo and other alternatives can only show older Reddit results, with no recent data available. This restriction is creating a significant disadvantage for Google’s competitors, further entrenching Google’s dominance in the search engine market.

3. **Financial Deal** : This exclusivity follows a $60 million agreement between Google and Reddit earlier this year, allowing Google to use Reddit’s content for training its language models (LLMs), while competitors are left out of this valuable resource.
