Not sure if I’m doing something wrong, but I keep receiving a 403 error. I’ve tried to use them with Ollama and LM Studio

A 403 (Forbidden) error in LM Studio means the server is actively rejecting your request due to authentication or permission issues. This usually happens when an external client (like VS Code, a custom app, or a web UI) tries to access LM Studio’s local server but sends an invalid, incorrect, or missing API key

An Ollama 403 error means the server understands who you are but refuses to grant access. The most common causes are CORS restrictions blocking web UI/extensions from connecting, subscription paywalls for premium cloud models, or VPN/Proxy configurations on your local network
