Crack that Google Cloud exam in a week — free, no coding, no degree. 🎯 Two landmines sink people first. Defuse, then grab the loot.

> **🚨 Webcam rule that voids your pass**
>
> A live proctor (stranger) watches via webcam. Instant fail if: someone enters the room, your face leaves the camera, or there’s a phone/paper/snack/food/drink/earbuds on you. No breaks — 2hr straight. They scan your whole room first.
> India: need a government _photo_ ID (not paper), name matching your booking _exactly_.
> Install the app + do a test-run the day before. No work laptops.

> Memorised leaked questions can wipe all your certs + ban you from every Google exam. Skip them. The free banks below teach the _pattern_ — same pass, zero risk.

> ExamTopics. Ignore the grey “Suggested Answer” — often wrong. Use the vote bar + comments (people who passed). Trust the crowd, not the box.

> **🧠 The cheat the test runs on**
>
> Two answers always look right; the fake is the “close cousin.” Learn the cousins:
> DB: plain → Cloud SQL · worldwide → Spanner · phone-app → Firestore · sensor/IoT → Bigtable · big reports → BigQuery
> Code: tiny trigger → Cloud Functions · sleeps when idle → Cloud Run · website → App Engine · full containers → GKE
> Pick the one that fits every requirement without overkill.

> **🛠️ The only 10 labs worth doing**
>
> Free Google account ($300 credit). Do these:
>
> 1. Network (VPC) + subnet + firewall rule
> 2. Spin a VM — try a cheap Spot one
> 3. Storage bucket → auto-delete old files
> 4. Give a _limited_ role, not god-mode
> 5. Switch projects via command line
> 6. Copy a role setup across projects
> 7. Deploy to Cloud Run
> 8. Deploy to App Engine
> 9. Resize a Kubernetes cluster
> 10. Set a budget + alert

> **⚡ 7-day cram method**
>
> • Test yourself first — questions before you feel ready
> • Mix topics each session — the exam mixes them
> • Note every wrong answer + its rule
> • Sleep before the exam, skip the all-nighter
> Numbers: 70% pass · 50–60 Qs · 2hr · storage 30/90/365 days (Nearline/Coldline/Archive) · cert lasts 3yr

Defuse webcam → skip dumps → ExamPro course → ExamTopics (vote not box) → 10 labs → sleep. Week’s plenty. 🎯
