**Summary:**

1. Aryan Kapoor, a high school student, developed a model rocket with vertical landing capabilities, inspired by SpaceX, after three years of work.
2. The project involved thrust-vector control, dual solid-propellant motors, and innovative landing gear using rubber bands and syringes as dampers.
3. Extensive testing, including static test vehicles and a low-altitude hopper, led to the successful test flight and landing. You can watch the first successful test flight and landing [on YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vxP86WhNzP4).
