# How to crack or know RAR strong passwords

Hello, I need to know if there is a possible way to crack or find a strong password for a RAR file. I create a RAR file with a really strong password I think it is 16 or more characters include numbers alphabets and 1 symbol, but I forgot some of the password characters. I tried a lot of software and searched for many solutions but couldn’t find a solution to solve this.

No dear It is not possible to crack the password of RAR file.

pvanp is right. Those apps usually try to crack the passwords via brute force and as you mentioned its 16 or more characters, you know how many password combinations those could be and you can guess how long will it take to run all combinations.
