**How can I find out where a shortened link leads?**

When we are sent links from a stream of messages, we cannot know where they are leading. Under it a file with a virus or a fake website can be hidden.

To avoid being caught by scammers, use the [https://urlex.org/](https://urlex.org/) service. Shows the actual link behind the short URL.

**How to use it:**

1. We go to the site - [https://urlex.org/](https://urlex.org/)

2. Paste the link and click “Expand”.

3. Bam!
