Can you please clarify whether you used the trick with newly created account or with an existing account? Because I believe it has ended for existing accounts. When we try to upgrade an existing account, there’s no Direct Debit option for payment. I’ve checked multiple times today, with various VPN locations that previously supported Direct Debit for Dropbox. Now, Direct Debit shows on payment page only when you’re not signed-in to your existing account, that too for 2TB plan only.
I’d love to learn if there’s a way to upgrade existing account like before we used to do. Although it was dow graded after a week but repeating same steps would upgrade it again.
I’d also like to request the people who are claiming that this method is working for them, that please let us know after 7 days if your account is downgraded or not.

You can create shared folders and use them to import all your files into new accounts (created using IBAN). Dropbox doesn’t even bother with deleting the files even if you are way over your limit. You can easily then abuse the limits set by Dropbox using shared folders.

@sana_khan You can use “multcloud” for that. It sure has some limitations but works great.
Yeah it will get suspended , as the IBAN you are providing they will try to do the transaction and after a week or two the account will be downgraded to 2 GB if your email id is anything but @gmail. Otherwise you will get 5 GB. Though your files will not be deleted. And it doesn’t matter what you store in there.
