**Learn how to get a free VPS in 5 minutes.** **There are 3 sites we are going to use:** ``` https://www.edx.org/ http://cs50.io/ https://c9.io/feeasgfas ``` You can create an unlimited amount of VPS by repeating this method. Specs: 1 CPU 512MB RAM 2GB HDD 1. Go to EDX [https://www.edx.org/](https://www.edx.org/) 2. Click register 3. Enter any name/username/password. Use a real email (can be a temp email, whatever you want) 4. Click create an account. 5. Go to your email. 6. Go to the link in your email to verify/activate your account. 7. Go to [http://cs50.io/](http://cs50.io/) 8. Click “Go” 9. Click “allow” 10. Go to [https://c9.io/feeasgfas](https://c9.io/feeasgfas) 11. Sign in with your email+password 12. Delete any workspace (click the workspace, click the cog next to “clone” , click delete workspace, type “ide50”, click coace. 13. From here, you could create whatever workspace with whatever template you want, and use this as a hosting platform. If you want to configure it to be a VPS, continue with the steps below. **Another method to get free VPS is:** 1. Go to [https://www.vpsserver.com/](https://www.vpsserver.com/) 2. Create Account With New Email And Password. 3. Verify Your Email. 4. Manual Verify Your Government ID 5. Thanks @Aina for sharing. For 3rd method, how can we verify government id manually ? and do we need to register using some specific country because I didn’t work with Indian IP 🙂 ---

I think I’m out of luck. Unfortunately Cloud9 workspaces have been disabled on June 30th, 2019. You will still be able to download and migrate your workspaces until December 31st, 2019. ---

I think getting vps is important for student only. If you are from company ask for company. If you are freelancer use some freelancing money. But if you are student use azure they give 100$ and you can make vps like at 9$ and use it upto year. ---

Am facing this Problem whenever i used VPN too. Please provide a photo of you holding your Identity Card front side. In the same picture, make a reference to [VPSServer.com](http://VPSServer.com) and today’s date displayed. Make sure your face is clearly visible and that all passport details are clearly readable. - Face clearly visible - Photo ID clearly visible - Note with word “[VPSServer.com](http://VPSServer.com)” - Note with today’s date.
