🔻 How do you protect your data on USB drives?

♦ USB flash drives are a popular way to transfer and store information, but they can become a security risk if not secured properly.

♦ Be aware and follow these guidelines:
👈 Enable full disk encryption:

▪ On Windows: Use BitLocker.
▪ On macOS: Use FileVault.
▪ On Linux: Use LUKS or VeraCrypt.

👈 Protect your drive with a strong password:
▪ Make it long, complex, and combine letters, numbers, and symbols.

👈 Update your systems and security software regularly:
▪ Updates close security holes and prevent malicious attacks.

👈 Avoid using USB drives on unknown or suspicious devices:
▪ They may contain spyware or viruses that steal your data upon connection.

⚠ Remember:
Protecting your data is your responsibility.

A USB flash drive may seem small, but it can be a gateway to a serious vulnerability if not handled carefully.
