# How to reactivate mybanned facebook account?

I have a Facebook account with more than 10,000 followers, and the account is dedicated to music. I was surprised to find that my account was recently suspended. What steps or procedure should I follow to recover my account? I would greatly appreciate your assistance. Thank you.

**One shot.** A failed appeal ends the account — no second review. “Keep appealing till it works” is what kills these. You have **180 days** ; spend a few building the case.

## 🎵 Copyright route — 2 levers that beat appealing

▸ **Get the report withdrawn** → the takedown notice **names the rights owner and gives their email**. [Meta itself tells you to contact them](https://www.meta.com/help/policies/2202628709913826/). Cleanest reversal that exists — labels pull reports on small pages more often than people expect.

▸ **[File a DMCA counter-notification](https://www.facebook.com/help/265723950293778)** → law, not a favour. Meta forwards it to whoever reported you. **No court case filed = your content comes back.** Most chancers never sue.

## ⛔ Two routes that look perfect and aren’t

▸ **[Appeals Centre Europe](https://www.appealscentre.eu/)** — free, independent, EU-certified, Meta legally must engage, now covers account suspensions. ⚠ **EU residents only.** Genuine gem for anyone here inside the EU.

▸ **[Oversight Board](https://www.oversightboard.com/faq/)** — their FAQ: _“the account cannot be disabled and the person must be able to log into it.”_ Pages = future scope. Pure catch-22.

## 🚩 And the obvious one

Anyone selling **“guaranteed Facebook recovery”** is reselling the free appeal button or scamming you. The paid firms admit in their own writing that nobody can promise a reversal.

The button that gets your account back is the same one that ends it. Load it before you pull it.
