**if you don’t know there’s a way to ask to be a moderator on a subreddit.**

sometimes the moderator account get block because he didn’t respect the rules of Reddit and if he’s the only admin on a subreddit, this subreddit get taking by a bot called “request\_bot”, You can also request to be a moderator of a subreddit if the moderator not active (post, reply…etc,) more then 60 days keep in mind that some moderators may be active on a private subreddit

**You can request to be a moderator of this subreddit, But there are rules of course :**

1- your Reddit account need to be old (90 days at least) to make a request
2- you need to have 500 karma at least
3- you have the right to make one request every 15 days

**So how to find a subreddit that doesn’t have a moderator**

to do that you need to go to google and copy past this :

“needs moderators and is currently available for request” site:[https://www.reddit.com/](https://www.reddit.com/)

Look for a subreddit that have only one admin name is “request\_bot” if there’s another admin check the admin account and see if he have any recent activity in the last 60 days

**How to submit your request**

go here [https://www.reddit.c…/redditrequest/](https://www.reddit.com/r/redditrequest/)

and you can also check the account of the bot [https://www.reddit.c…er/request\_bot/](https://www.reddit.com/user/request_bot/) to see who gets accepted and who not, learn from mistakes that they’ve done
