# I forgot my android password is there any way to unlock the phone

So I forgot my 6 digit android password is there any way to unlock the phone without losing all my data.  
If no then is there any way to transfer data from my phone to laptop?  
After connecting the cable to my laptop I don’t get the media option due to phone being locked  
Please any help is appreciated

well as @john_hann said, your storage is now encrypted and the only way to access your data is by unlocking it. To unlock it, you can either try to remember your password of try recovering you password using forget password via google if available. If data is not important, you can still use your device after flashing it.

just go to the nearest oneplus service center with your invoice they will verify it and unlock your phone
