Updated the list! Added Superman (2025) to the Heroes section — James Gunn’s hopecore reboot: David Corenswet’s Superman gets dragged across the snow by his own super-dog Krypto, then proves that in a cynical world, plain kindness is the most punk-rock power there is. Sits right next to Man of Steel now. 
Updated the list! Added Obsession (2025) to the Thrillers section — a shy guy snaps a novelty “one wish” charm so his crush will finally love him back, and it works exactly as promised. Premiered at TIFF’s Midnight Madness and it earns that slot: sweet, cringey rom-com energy that slowly curdles into something genuinely nasty. 
Updated the list! Five new ones this time 
- Batman Begins (2005) and The Dark Knight Rises (2012) — dropped in either side of The Dark Knight in the Action section, so the full Nolan trilogy finally sits together in order.
- Limitless (2011) — Sci-Fi, parked right next to Lucy since they are two very different answers to the same “what if your brain ran at 100%” question.
- Twisters (2024) — Adventure, next to The Day After Tomorrow. Loud, big-screen storm chasing.
- Reacher (2022) — Action. Ritchson finally gets his own spot on the list instead of just a mention.
