Indian Govt bans 59 Chinese apps claiming they are “prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, security of state and public order.” Here’s the complete list of the apps banned: 1. You wont be able to send and receive data as it will be blocked by the ISPs ---

there is no such information about it as such whether it is temporary or lifetime. many apps are still functioning. right now, only tiktok is removed from both appstore and playstore. other apps are still functioning and downloadable. not sure when they will be blocked ---

pubg is funded by them but it is korean game right? there are so many startups in India which are funded by chinese or having huge investment by chinese.. lets see how govt takes action against them ---

as yes @1tonpun said, you won’t be able to send and receive data as it will be blocked by ISPs but you may use VPN, may function then.. right now they are still functioning without vpn, hopefully our govt will soon ban them, have already ordered respective ISPs to block the data transferred to those apps. but at the same time, i would suggest not to use them and provide benefit to these chinese people! ---

there are some terms of WTO and considering that India can’t ban trade with China. Also there is lot more to it. 70% of API which is required for pharmaceutical company uses to make drugs in India comes from China, majority of automobile components etc etc. all is available cheap in China. There are so many things where India is lagging behind and slowly investing it in those particular sectors to make it better, may take upto 10-15 years.. lets see.. Also China is having huge investment in many big startups by India companies and there are many terms where we can’t completely ban China, more I speak, less it is… ---

No one won’t be able to access it even through vpn. How did they do it? I mean what they actually block so even VPN can’t access it because Every other blocked material can be accessed through VPN. ---

Because they can’t do anything on the battlefield. India heavily rely on Chinese investment and trade. Even the medical supplies are essential to Indian health system. What if China decides to block something. India will be fucked. ---

They didn’t ban the app like aliexpress Alibaba which store much more data like credit cards. Which can affect much worse. We all use the Xiaomi, oneplus, realme, Vivo, Lenovo, Motorola… All Chinese handset with their UI on the top which collect much more data..
