**Summary:**

1. **Clustering Orbits**
Astrophysicist **Amir Siraj** and colleagues suggest that the unusual orbits of distant objects in the solar system may be caused by an unseen **ninth planet** beyond Neptune.

2. **Simulation Results**
In a 2024 study, Siraj’s team ran 300 simulations, finding new parameters that support the possibility of a **Planet Nine**.

3. **Upcoming Observatories**
With the upcoming launch of the **Vera C. Rubin Observatory** in 2025, scientists hope to gain deeper insight into the solar system, potentially spotting a planet beyond Neptune.

4. **Public Involvement**
NASA’s **Backyard Worlds: Planet 9** project encourages the public to help search for Planet X using images from the **WISE** mission.

5. **Skeptical Views**
Some scientists argue that the clustering of orbits could be a random effect, and there may be no ninth planet after all.
