Heads-up from a lesson learned the hard way: the 48-hour window is real, and it starts when you join — not when you feel like redeeming.

A friend of mine signed up with a code, got busy, and only opened Settings → Redeem Code on day three. The code itself went through but the bonus was gone — the window had already closed. The thread header says it plainly (redeem inside 48 hours of joining), but it’s very easy to skim past.

So, from experience, my tips:

  1. Redeem on day one. Open Settings → Redeem Code right after joining and enter the code immediately.
  2. Type the code exactly — uppercase letters, no spaces. Most “code didn’t work” reports turn out to be typos.
  3. Keep the app installed and check back. Alpha builds roll in waves, so a temporary glitch isn’t the end of the world.

Quick update from my side — a friend of mine just went through the whole invite flow successfully, so here is the exact process that worked for them, step by step:

  1. Install the Muse app and finish creating your account first — the code redemption field only appears after registration.
  2. Once you are signed in, go to Settings and look for the invite code option.
  3. Enter this code: R9E5CA
  4. Make sure you redeem it within 48 hours of registering. That window is strict — after it closes the code simply will not work.

When I redeemed my own invite, the reward arrived in my account without any issues, which is why I am sharing this here. Full disclosure: I am the referrer, so this benefits me too if you use it — but you get the same reward, so it is a fair deal either way.

The most common mistake I see is people waiting too long on step 4. Do it right after signing up and you will be fine. Good luck!
