Good question — I checked this too when I signed up. Everything in this thread points to the 48-hour clock starting at registration, not when you first hear about the code. So if it’s been more than two days since you signed up, the redeem screen probably won’t take a code anymore. Still quick to test — takes a minute in Settings.
