I’ve been using Muse in a slightly different way this week, as a patient English speaking parnter for 10 minutes a day. I just tell it to role-play a simple scene — ordering coffee, checking in at a hotel, or a quick job interview — and it stays in character and corrects me gently when I get stuck.

It works realy well for shy speakers because there’s no rush, you can repeat a sentence three times, and you can ask it to slow down or use simpler words. I usually end by asking it to list the phrases I should practise tomorrow, then I say them out loud once more before I close the app.
