# NordVPN Dev Server Allegedly Breached — Salesforce & Jira Data Leaked

Someone on BreachForums is claiming they popped a NordVPN development server and dumped the goodies.

* * *

## What’s the claim?

A user going by **“1011”** posted on January 4, 2026, saying they bruteforced a misconfigured NordVPN dev server. The haul allegedly includes:

- 10+ database source codes
- Salesforce API keys
- Jira tokens
- Other internal configs

They posted SQL dump samples showing tables like `salesforce_api_step_details` and `api_keys`. A ~768KB zip file is floating around on qu.ax.

> **[qu.ax - Simple & Private File Hosting](https://qu.ax/YCPBi)**
>
> nordvpn.com.zip - 767.94 KB

* * *

## Should you care?

> **If this is real...**
>
> This isn’t VPN user data — it’s internal business tools. Salesforce handles customer relationships, Jira handles dev tickets. Leaked API keys could let someone poke around NordVPN’s internal workflows.
>
> Embarrassing? Yes.
> Your browsing history exposed? No.

* * *

## Red flags on this one

The poster has **4 posts** , joined **December 2025** , and has **zero reputation**. Classic pattern for either:

- Clout chasers farming credibility
- Recycled/fake data dressed up as new
- Actual breach from someone new to the scene

“Bruteforcing a misconfigured server” is also vague as hell. Real breach reports usually flex methodology. This one’s just vibes.

## NordVPN’s history

> **Quick context**
>
> Their last confirmed breach was 2018 — a Finland server got popped through a data center’s insecure remote management system. No user data leaked, but it was a bad look.
>
> Since then they moved to RAM-only servers (data wipes on reboot) and passed multiple third-party audits. They’ve been clean for years.
>
> This new claim targets their _business infrastructure_, not VPN servers.

* * *

## Current status

- **NordVPN response:** Nothing yet
- **Verification:** None
- **File contents:** Unconfirmed

This is a “watch and wait” situation. If security researchers verify the dump or NordVPN issues a statement, we’ll know more.

* * *

## Bottom line

Unverified claim from a fresh account. Could be real, could be nothing. NordVPN users probably aren’t affected even if it’s legit — this is corporate tooling, not VPN infrastructure.

Stay tuned. ☄
