**Summary:**

1. **Introduction of Canvas**
OpenAI has launched **Canvas** , a new interface for ChatGPT that offers a dedicated workspace for writing and coding tasks, currently in beta for ChatGPT Plus and Teams users.

2. **User-Friendly Features**
Once the feature is out of beta, it will also be available to Enterprise and Edu users, with plans to extend it to free users later.

3. **Dynamic Workspaces**
Canvas windows automatically appear when ChatGPT identifies a need for a separate workspace, making it easier for users to manage longer outputs or complex coding tasks.

4. **Enhanced Writing Capabilities**
In the writing workspace, users can generate emails and adjust the length with a slider. They can also make specific requests to modify the tone or add emojis.

5. **Coding Support**
For coding, users can create projects like an API web server in Python, with options to add comments for clarity, explain code snippets, and request code reviews.

6. **Interactive Editing**
The “review code” button provides suggestions for edits to both generated and user-written code, allowing users to approve changes or have ChatGPT fix bugs automatically.
