**Summary:**

* * *

1. **Successful Trial**
Qunnect Inc. tested a quantum network prototype in a 34-kilometer fiber loop in New York City, operating for 15 days with a 99.84% uptime and 99% fidelity in entangled photon pairs.

2. **Innovative Technology**
The network used polarization-entangled photons and automated polarization compensation devices to handle polarization drift and noise, crucial for maintaining entanglement over long distances.

3. **Future Potential**
This demonstration is a step towards a practical quantum internet, with Qunnect’s technology showing significant progress towards a fully automated entanglement network.
