When I hit my limit on Claudeโs code, I decided to test this; it actually works, but Claudeโs code intelligence is still the best. This free API at least did its best. I got stuck in a loop using the free APIs.
My honest take is that if you are a beginner or want to test something new, you can use this without burning credit.
Claudeโs code runs in its own workspace better than any other replica trying to use its architecture or intelligence.
The per-model routing idea is the part that would help me most, because different tasks suit different strengths. I would start with a single free provider and a small test project before pointing it at anything important. Keeping the free key separate from paid credentials also makes it easier to rotate if a provider changes its limits. The voice input sounds convenient, but I would still review every diff before accepting it, especially for refactors. Overall, the five-minute setup is appealing if the fallback is clear when one provider hits a rate limit.
There should be a thread I posted with directions on how to do so here on 1H. I will look as soon as I have time .
