**Backtrack and Kali Linux** are almost the **same** distros. **Backtrack** was superseded by **Kali linux**. **Kali linux** was developed by the Offensive Security who also developed **Backtrack**. The difference is, **Backtrack** support has been discontinued.

## BackTrack is now Kali Linux since 2013.
