# \[SOLVED\] Where should we add CNAME record and how?

I want to create a subdomain something like discuss..com.  
I am using different providers for domain registar([bigrock.com](http://bigrock.com)) and other pvrovider for hosting the websites.

To make the change - should I add a CNAME record in domain registar account or hosting account ?

As far as I know you must change the DNS server name (address) in the place you registered to point to where it is hosting. Both info you can probably see in your account settings, DNS info.
