Anyone with a software or security background will understand what Im saying. If you choose to fully trust enterprisegrade antivirus software that’s completely fine. You’re free to believe that, just as I’m free to share my perspective.I’m not here to convince anyone I’m just putting the information out there.

For someone who understands information security, it is obvious that a group of 2-3 people cannot cope with this, such harmful software can only be developed by large hacker organizations that operate on a large scale
To circumvent the protection level of the corporation

I disagree but I’ve already made my point. People can decide for themselves. I’m not continuing this discussion.

Modern corporations are protected not by an “antivirus”, but by entire ecosystems: SOC 24/7, SIEM/SOAR, EDR/XDR, Zero Trust, Red/Blue Team, bug bounty, hardware HSM/TPM and constant pen tests. A real attack includes exploration, vulnerability chain search, exploit development, event correlation bypass, EDR, pinning, lateral movement, exfiltration, and trace concealment — these are different specializations (reverse engineering, exploits, cryptography, Windows/Linux internals, networks, infrastructure). Crawling almost always requires zero-day, custom loaders, proprietary C2, and months of development. Physically, 2-3 people cannot do all this in parallel and withstand dozens of engineers and automation. Such operations are possible only for large APT groups at the Lazarus, APT28, and FIN7 levels, and not for a small team.

In fact, a person who understands at least a little bit how the security of an entire corporation works will not even claim this, because he knows what levels of protection corporations stand for, apart from the fact that many of them are supported by US intelligence agencies or others.

Large corporations operate at an effectively state-grade security level. Banks, cloud providers, telecom, defense and big tech companies cooperate with national cybersecurity and intelligence agencies (NSA/CISA, GCHQ, BSI, military CERTs), share threat indicators, receive zero-day warnings and participate in closed security programs. Their protection is multi-layered: WAF and DDoS at the perimeter, EDR/XDR on endpoints, network segmentation and NDR, IAM with MFA and behavioral analytics, continuous monitoring via SOC and SIEM, plus government threat intelligence. This is not a single system but a full security ecosystem. Any information security professional knows that individuals or small groups usually target phishing, small businesses or low-value victims, while corporations like Google, Microsoft, major banks and cloud providers are attacked only by large APT groups or actors with state support. A single researcher may find a bug, but finding a vulnerability is not the same as executing a full attack: one person cannot build a full attack chain, maintain persistence, bypass monitoring and remain stealthy over time.
Historically, groups of 1–3 people were able to compromise corporations only through insiders, contractors, legacy systems, or architectural and configuration flaws. There is no known case where a small team directly bypassed a modern enterprise security stack (SOC, SIEM, EDR/XDR, Zero Trust, event correlation) using its own sophisticated malware. Full-scale compromise of a corporation’s protection level is always the work of large APT groups with dozens of specialists, zero-day exploits, dedicated infrastructure, and months of development. Small groups do not break defenses — they exploit human and organizational weaknesses.
I wish you a wonderful day, and I believe this concludes the discussion.

If you use it too actively, yes, you can, let’s say you added 50 games in a day and immediately started downloading them all. I’ve been using it for 2 weeks in a cautious mode on my main account, and there is no ban.

There is no such universal threat that a huge number of antiviruses cannot fail to notice, since all antiviruses update their signatures regularly and over many years of existence The programs have developed a detection mechanism, including a behavioral one, so there is no reason to worry because there is no such universal malware virus that can bypass absolutely everything Not to mention higher levels of protection у меня Bitdefender When two different corporate-level antiviruses don’t detect a threat, it’s at the level of fantasy, so I use this one without any problems. At least one antivirus would have shown signs that there is a threat here, but none of them see it.

I’ve had this program for a year now, and I took my laptop to the service for diagnostics with it, and no one noticed any threats, so the comments of this unscrupulous user are unreliable.

Don’t use it on your personal computer with important data , i wont say to you you have to listen to me , go to chatgpt or gemini and ask “ **Is using unofficial, closed-source SteamTools safe on a personal PC?**

Please perform a **security risk analysis** based on **publicly available web information** , including:

• **Sandbox behavior reported by online malware analysis platforms** , specifically **Joe Sandbox** and **Hybrid Analysis (Falcon Sandbox)**
• **Observed network activity** , such as suspicious outbound connections, command-and-control behavior, DNS patterns, or data exfiltration reported on the web
• **Antivirus and detection limitations** , including false negatives and obfuscation techniques
• **Lack of source-code transparency** and risks associated with closed-source executables
• **User reports or community discussions** mentioning suspicious or malicious behavior

Please clearly separate **verified sandbox findings** from **anecdotal user claims** , cite web-reported indicators where applicable, and conclude with a **practical risk assessment** for running such tools on a personal PC.” . Above me there are 2 people who can create chatgpt reply to win an argument instead of using chatgpt to ask if using steamtools is safe for not and its suspicious behaviours.
