# uBlock Origin Lite Developer Pulls Support from Firefox Store, Criticizes Mozilla's Review Process! 🚫

1. **Extension No Longer Available**  
The uBlock Origin Lite extension for Firefox has been removed from the Mozilla Add-ons Store by its developer, Raymond Hill, following ongoing issues with the review process.

2. **Concerns Over Review Process**  
Hill criticized Mozilla for its “nonsensical and hostile” review process, which flagged multiple versions of the extension as policy violations, alleging that it collected user data and contained questionable code.

3. **Developer’s Defense**  
The developer refuted the claims, stating that anyone with a basic understanding of JavaScript could easily see that the allegations were unfounded.

4. **Move to Self-Hosting**  
As a result of these challenges, Hill has transitioned uBlock Origin Lite to a self-hosted model, encouraging users to download the latest version from GitHub, which can auto-update itself.

5. **Apology from Mozilla**  
In a now-closed GitHub issue, an email from Mozilla admitting fault and apologizing for their error was shared. However, the extension remains unavailable on the Mozilla Add-ons Store, while the original uBlock Origin for Firefox continues to be supported.
