**Some websites are places you can walk around in, not pages you read.** 🏢

The best one is a single pixel building with a thousand rooms, every room drawn by a different artist. The other seven are its neighbours.

```auto
╔═ THE BUILDING ════════╗
║ 8 floor796.com ║
║ 7 sandspiel.club ║
║ 6 radio.garden ║
║ 5 pointerpointer.com ║
║ 4 zoomquilt.org ║
║ 2 windows93.net ║
**What each one actually does — one line each**
🏛 **[floor796.com](https://floor796.com)** — one enormous animated pixel building; scroll floor by floor, every room a small interactive joke. _Sit with this one for an hour._
🎹 **[sandspiel.club](https://sandspiel.club)** — pour sand, water, fire and plants, and watch physics do the rest. _No rules, no score, pure toy._
📻 **[radio.garden](https://radio.garden)** — spin a globe, click a city, hear that city’s radio live. _The fastest way to feel somewhere else._
🖱 **[pointerpointer.com](https://pointerpointer.com)** — put your cursor anywhere and it finds a photo of someone pointing at it. _One joke, executed perfectly._
🌀 **[zoomquilt.org](https://zoomquilt.org)** — a painting that zooms forever without ever repeating. _Hypnotic, and it never ends._
🎲 **[theuselessweb.com](https://theuselessweb.com)** — one button, endless pointless websites. _The cure for a boring five minutes._
🖥 **[windows93.net](https://www.windows93.net)** — a complete fake operating system in a tab: boot screen, apps, jokes everywhere. _Hand it to someone and say nothing._
🧪 **[neal.fun](https://neal.fun)** — a collection of hand-made toys: the deep sea, size comparisons, absurd little games. _Each one is a five-minute detour._
> **Why these beat a normal link list**
> **Why this beats a normal link list:** none of them are articles. Every one gives you something to _do_ in the first two seconds — pour, spin, zoom, click — and that is why people stay.
📌 Start at floor 8. Scroll three floors. You will understand why this one gets forwarded.
