### 🔑 Windows Server Essentials 2016 — a MAK key with 472 activations left on it

`MAKCount: 472` — it’s a **Multiple Activation Key** , so it isn’t one-per-person. The counter is how many machines it will still activate, and it drops by one each time somebody uses it. First come, first served.

**Activate from an admin Command Prompt:**

```auto
slmgr /ipk QQNYC-49WX2-642HT-JV9TH-8HWT2
slmgr /ato

```

First line installs the key, second one activates against Microsoft. `slmgr /xpr` afterwards tells you where you stand.

_472 seats and a counter that only goes one way._
