BCBC evidence rules
| Rule | Operational meaning |
|---|---|
| Evidence before interpretation | Keep original provider/tool output available separately from AI summaries. |
| Provenance always | Record tool/provider, relevant version, timestamp, query scope, and source URL where practical. |
| VERIFIED / CONTRADICTED / UNKNOWN | Do not collapse uncertainty into a confident narrative. |
| Correlation is not identity proof | A matching username, photo, domain, phone, or social pattern is evidence requiring corroboration. |
| Partial failure is visible | A failed provider should not erase successful evidence from other providers. |
| Authorization boundary | Active scanning is restricted to systems owned by or explicitly authorized for the operator. |
