Week 3 of My Journey — Wins, Losses, Next Moves
Papers done. Back on the grind. Here’s where I’m at.
So my papers are over. I’ve been working hard — but honestly, not up to the mark or standard I set for myself on day 01.
Where I started: 2 Shorts channels and a dropshipping thing.
Shorts channel #1 — failed badly. That one’s on me. I convinced myself it wouldn’t work and I just stopped posting. Self-sabotage.
Shorts channel #2 — going a little bit good. Not great, but moving.
Dropshipping — failed. Got 5k+ impressions, zero conversions. I didn’t use AI for ads research at all, did everything myself. The mistake: I targeted only a few areas where I thought conversions would happen. Miscalculated. I’ve got the money back now and I’ll try again with a different approach.
I’m spending on proxies and ads out of my own pocket — the same money I should be spending on university expenses. I’m not saying this to ask for money. I’m saying it because a lot of people tell themselves “I don’t have money, I don’t have this, I don’t have that” as a reason to never start. Just start trying — and inshallah the reward will come.
Long-form YouTube channel (from Week 2 plan) — failed. IP got banned. I didn’t use a proxy, just used a random IP from my ISP. In 3rd world countries like mine, there’s no such thing as a static IP for anything.
Next Goals
- Start 2 more Shorts channels in different niches — content already in prep
- Start 2 long-form channels — this week if possible, next week for sure
- Restart ads with a different strategy
Instagram accounts failed for both niches (will mention which ones in the next update).
Need Help — Community Question
If I want to run a channel in 2 or 3 languages, can I make 3 accounts on the same proxy + same Gmail without it causing views/engagement issues?
Anyone with experience — drop a reply. Otherwise I’ll just test it and report back next week.
