This would be my roadmap to launch a successful affiliate niche site. At least, the three major components of any successful affiliate niche site.
1. Niche Research/Selection
In regard to this, Miles Becker just releases two 1+ hour-long tutorials each about how to research a profitable niche to launch an affiliate site.

2. Keyword Research
Once you have a niche you want to dive in. itĀ“s time for the second phase and search for those keywords you are going to be targeting and building your site around it.
As a general rule, if youĀ“re launching the site on a completely fresh and new domain, I strongly advise you to target long-tail keywords or keywords with very low competition.
One great method to focus on us especially design for beginners and/or brand new sites is to target KGR keywords.
If youĀ“re on a budget and/or canĀ“t invest on any āfancyā SEO/keyword research tools such as Ahrefs or SEMRush. DonĀ“t worry about it.
You can still conduct an effective keyword research process with nothing but free tools.

3. Content Optimization
This could easily be the single most important phase of all three.
Why?
You can be in a very competitive niche and targeting a vary difficult keyword but if you provide amazing value through your content and effectively match the userĀ“s search intent, you wonĀ“t even need to build links in order to outrank your competitors and get to the top of search results.
Providing in-depth content about a particular topic that matches the userĀ“s search intent should be your number one priorityā¦PERIOD!
Check out this video by Ryan Stewart about keyword search intent and I am sure it will open your eyes about this.
IMPORTANT NOTES
SEO itĀ“s something you just canĀ“t ignore. I know keyword research and content optimization are two main areas of SEO but stuff like technical and on-page SEO and linkbuilding MUST be on your agenda.
There are many resources out there that will teach you the basics about these topics but, personally, I strongly advise you to check Ahrefs Blogging Course. They release it for free and itĀ“s available on their site.
They also have some of the best guides and tutorials on both their blogs and YouTube channel so make sure to check those out.
I also recommend to check Udemy coupon directory sites. ItĀ“s easy to browse for the latest coupon on a course you might be interested in and enroll for FREE.

affiliate marketing or blogging are still a BIG thing in 2020 and it will be for many years to come!
The fact that is a lot more competitive than it was 5 or 10 years ago donĀ“t have anything to do with the fact that you can still make a living as an affiliate marketer or as a blogger.
