[Browsing Test Report] Microsoft Edge least Secure then Other's Browser?

This test was conducted between the Chrome browser, Mozilla Firefox, brave browser, Edge chromium and Yandex Browser.

This study based on the privacy risk associated with back-end data exchange in intrusive nature of telemetry. The team conducted a series of tests to see what data where shared in five different scenario’s. The five browser maintain a clean installation , close and restart your browser and paste the URL into the navigation URL bar.

Test results shows that Brave browser is the most private browser in term of user’s privacy in the tier first , Second place took by the Chrome, FireFox and safari are in the second place. In the first place, Edge and Yandex are in the third place ( less private ).

For the privacy, Microsoft Edge Chromium and Yandex both browser that sent identifiers some links to the device hardware on the newly installed browser and this can be be used to link to different applications running on same device. Edge Chromium sends the device’s hardware UUID to a powerful and persistent identifier the cannot be easily changed or deleted.

Edge Shared SmartScreen Website ( nav.smartscreen.microsoft.com ) and Bing search engine sends users data to the Microsoft Servers. Both browsers which used to link requests and associated IP addresses/ location ) to the back-end server.

Users need to turn off this option inside Edge Chromium Browser
