Okay this might be a noob question but needed to ask it

Can I delete the set up files after installing (talking in terms of torrent stuff) because it’s taking up space

Backed up in hard drive

Will it impact the running of the software?

Yes, you can. It won’t impact the running of the software.

Yes, you can delete it. It won’t affect your running software but if you want to install it on another machine or for future use it won’t work at that time you need this setup file.

Furthermore, Indeed, you can Trash the setup file after the installation is completed.

But if you’re using Portable apps then do not Trash them, while the creates data folder somewhere in the Programs folder or documents, so you should keep everything belongs to the Portable app.
