🇮🇳 Crypto → an Indian card or UPI that actually clears — assembled, since no one sells the whole chain

:1234: It turns on the BIN — a card’s first digits, which name the country that issued it — and how to end up holding Indian ones

Indian checkouts read the BIN — a card’s first digits — and refuse anything not issued in India. No single product turns crypto into an Indian card, so you assemble the one leg you need. Pick your starting point:

Where you’re starting The route What you walk away with
:coin: Just stablecoin, want it fastest ⓪ A crypto-Visa that already works here a USDC/USDT Visa spent at Indian checkouts
:red_circle: No Indian tie, want an Indian BIN ① Assemble one PinePerks RuPay — a genuine Pine Labs Indian BIN
:money_with_wings: Rather pay by UPI than a card ② Off-ramp to rupees INR in your account → any UPI QR
:green_circle: Indian passport · OCI · PIO ③ NRO account, remotely your bank’s own Indian-BIN card
:yellow_circle: Want it ready-made ④ Off the shelf crypto-funded RuPay, if you can get in

Straight to the flagship for each:Hawala Visa · ① PinePerks RuPay · ② CryptoSe → UPI · ③ HDFC NRO · ④ CoinsBee RuPay. Full detail per route below.

⓪ Just want to spend crypto here — a Visa that already works

Don’t specifically need an Indian BIN, just need to spend stablecoin at Indian checkouts? Skip the assembly — a few foreign-issued Visas fund straight from crypto and clear at Indian merchants.

  • Hawala Visa — virtual USD Visa for Indian residents, funded with USDC on Solana. The most direct stablecoin-to-card line.
  • GetPlu USDC Card — virtual Visa off USDC or USDT, aimed at India where most global cards are shut.
  • RedotPay — crypto-funded Visa, virtual and physical, on a foreign rail.

Foreign BIN, not Indian — but if the goal is just “pay with crypto in India,” it’s the shortest line.

① No Indian tie? Assemble a genuine Indian BIN
USDT ─▶ any crypto-funded VCC ─▶ Indian gift-card storefront ─▶ PinePerks RuPay
  • PinePerks RuPay Prime · portal — bought like a gift card, no application, no bank. WOOHOO = 1.5% off on UPI.
  • Zingoy Prepaid — lifetime free, single document — signup hard-codes +91, so Indian number only.

Why it clears: the storefront runs on PayU and Paytm, both documenting international card acceptance for one-off payments. Juspay, fronting a large share of Indian checkouts, states it plainly — “international cards → Yes, Visa, MasterCard and Diners.” Its signup carries a country-code selector, not a fixed +91 — the whole reason this chain uses it over Zingoy. The e-gift version lands in your account, so the physical-delivery rule never applies.

Where it breaks: the signup code has to reach a foreign number, and the seller’s gateway has to have international cards switched on. Recurring stays shut either way — this is a card, not a mandate.

The test: one voucher at the smallest denomination. Code lands and payment clears, the chain works. It doesn’t, you’re out pocket change.

② Skip the card — off-ramp the stablecoin to UPI

Turn USDT into rupees in your own account, then pay any UPI QR.

  • CryptoSe USDT → UPI — scan a UPI QR, the merchant gets INR, you spend USDT. India-focused, aims straight at UPI (pre-launch — set the alert).
  • OnMeta · Xflow · TransFi — settle USDC/USDT into an Indian bank over UPI/IMPS, with export-style paperwork (e-FIRA) for a clean trail.
  • Tylt CrossRamp · Settle by LedgerPe · ClearRemit — routing primitives and simple-fee bridges for the crypto↔INR leg.

Keep it on a FIU-registered off-ramp; the tax leg still applies (toolkit drawer below).

③ Indian passport, OCI or PIO — a remote NRO card

21 Indian banks onboard non-residents on an international mobile number, across 12 countries. Passport · visa or residence proof · overseas address · PAN · one video call · ~10 days, couriered abroad.

  • HDFC Visa NRO Debit — remote onboarding, cleanest of the 21.
  • Revolut India — licensed 04.04.2025, residents only, waitlisted.
  • :warning: NRO, not NRE — an NRE account only takes money wired from abroad, so a rupee off-ramp can’t feed it.

All 21: AU Small Finance · Axis · Canara · CSB · City Union · DBS India · DCB · Deutsche · Equitas · ESAF · Federal · HDFC · ICICI · IDFC First · Indian Bank · IndusInd · Kotak · PNB · SBI · South Indian Bank · Yes Bank.

Already hold an Indian account?ICICI Pockets (free instant virtual Visa) · SBI Virtual Debit (holds a recurring mandate) · Axis Virtual Gift Card (₹500–₹50,000, 3-D Secure).

④ Ready-made crypto → RuPay (if you can get in)
  • :coin: CoinsBee RuPay · CoinGate RuPay — RuPay prepaid voucher for USDT or 250+ coins. Both out of stock at writing; set the restock alert.
  • :diamond_with_a_dot: Kassio — crypto to INR wallet, card issued instantly. Indian BIN unverified, company is Danish (see their terms / FAQs).
  • :india: EasyP2P — India-only USDT to INR, virtual cards and domestic QR advertised. No published issuer.
  • :office_building: Yuze India — names Transcorp International as its PPI issuer — hard Indian-issuer evidence (their terms; Transcorp’s PPI terms bar crypto-sourced funds — fund it in rupees).
  • :one_o_clock: Zyrro (zyrro.in) — USDT in, INR conversion, Indian RuPay out. Private beta, site not serving. Company is real: GSX Solutions, FIU-registered on Circle’s partner directory.
  • :cross_mark: Bitget Wallet Card — real USDT top-ups, India not on the eligibility list.
🧪 Read a BIN properly — nine digits, the free file, and live checks
first NINE digits as a number → ACCT_NUM_MIN ≤ n ≤ ACCT_NUM_MAX → the issuer

📜 Licences, the rupee off-ramp, and the tax leg
🏗️ One level up — run the card programme yourself
  • Transcorp International — 431 prepaid Visa ranges across 44 prefixes, BSE-listed, the issuer behind other people’s cards. · OmniCard / Eroute — own RBI PPI licence, publishes no BIN.
  • :bank: CARD91 — issuer-processing / switch for prepaid, debit, forex and UPI cards, Visa + RuPay certified — the BIN/programme layer itself.
  • :brick: Cashfree PPI · PayU Virtual Cards — a compliant wallet/virtual-card flow (Visa/MC/RuPay, Min-KYC) inside your own app.
  • :gear: M2P · iServeU · Falcon · Oxymoney — modular Indian BaaS issuance: physical, virtual, disposable.
  • :label: LivQuik · Zokudo · FSS — white-label PPI programmes with their own BIN.
  • :coin: Nium Stablecoin-Backed Cards · Plutope — issue Visa/MC backed by a stablecoin balance; the enterprise version of this whole post.

:no_entry: Don’t pay for: anything advertising “India BIN · USDT · no KYC” (foreign BIN, Indian marketing) · BIN 466517 (Xfers, Singapore) · a pick-your-BIN menu promising India (none exists — ISO 7812 ranges need national-standards sponsorship).

Nobody sells the whole thing. Every piece of it is on sale separately.
