Foreign card refused. An Indian BIN clears — and crypto builds it.
The wall isn’t a bank — it’s the BIN: a card’s first six digits name its issuing country.
India refuses foreign ones. No single product turns crypto into an Indian card — assemble the legs instead. Two clear today.
Route 1 — UPI without an Indian bank (the government’s own)
India’s own central bank runs UPI One World — a prepaid UPI wallet for visitors with no Indian bank, SIM, Aadhaar or PAN.
Fund it with your existing international card (your crypto Visa), then scan any of 55M UPI QRs.
- Install CheqUPI — free to join (₹999 for Russian passports).
- KYC = passport + visa + arrival stamp, verified at a branch or doorstep agent.
- Top up with a bank-issued international card → ~3.5% fee.
- Scan any UPI QR → merchant paid in rupees.
No subscriptions/recurring · ~₹1L/day · merchant payments only · you must be in India for KYC.
Route 2 — crypto → Indian vouchers (from anywhere)
No India trip, no KYC: buy Indian store credit with crypto, get a code by email, spend it.
- Bitrefill India — Amazon.in, Flipkart, PhonePe, Swiggy Money, Zomato, Google Play.
- BitGift / CardsRelay — Amazon Pay, Flipkart, PVR, Myntra, paid in USDT/BTC.
Store credit, not a card — it still clears Indian merchants today.
Route 3 — the genuine Indian-BIN card (watch + verify)
The open-loop RuPay prepaid (a real Indian BIN) is out of stock at CoinsBee right now. When it returns, verify before you pay:
- First digits must be RuPay:
60 · 65 · 81 · 82 · 508. - Two free lookups agree → binlist.net + bincheck.io.
- Issuer is on NPCI’s RuPay members or the RBI PPI list.
A “India BIN · USDT · no KYC” ad is usually a foreign Visa with Indian marketing — the three checks above kill it in 30 seconds.
🌍 Same recipe, any country — and the honest catches
The global template. Every country has the same three pieces: an inbound-visitor e-money wallet (UPI One World’s sibling) · a local prepaid · a local instant rail. Already-open ones: M-Pesa Kenya (foreign passport at a Safaricom Shop → Kotani Pay USDC → M-Pesa) · Pix Brazil (DeFlow — no-KYC crypto → Pix).
Check the gateway too. Some Indian merchants take foreign cards directly (Razorpay international); others (Amazon.in gift cards) refuse cards issued abroad — read the checkout for Visa/MC first.
Stale names, checked 2026-11-07. CryptoSe (“scan UPI QR, pay crypto”) is pre-launch/waitlist · CoinGate RuPay out of stock · Zyrro dead (404) · EasyP2P $0 volume · every “crypto debit card” (GetPlu, RedotPay, Hawala) is a foreign BIN — only the first leg, never the Indian leg.
The wall in one line. RuPay = first digits 60/65/81/82/508; a 4xxxxx “RuPay” is a Visa, full stop. NRI/OCI? Remote HDFC NRO card. Tax: 1% TDS at source, 30% flat on gains, no loss offset.
Every piece is sold separately. Assemble the two legs that clear — and verify before you pay.
