If your PC handles Hardware Virtualization. Use Sandbox to test such applications and cracking content. (No need to install anything to test anything)
If your PC doesn’t support Hardware Virtualization, then use VMware, search on Google how to set up, there are 100+ tutorials beginner-friendly.
Windows 11
- 1. Check Requirements:
Make sure your system meets the requirements for Windows Sandbox, which include running Windows 11 Pro or Enterprise and having hardware virtualization enabled in your system’s BIOS/UEFI settings.
- 2. Open Windows Features:
Press the Windows key + R, type appwiz.cpl or optionalfeatures, and press Enter.
- 3. Enable Windows Sandbox:
In the “Turn Windows features on or off” window, scroll down to find Windows Sandbox.
- 4. Activate the Feature:
Check the box next to Windows Sandbox and click OK.
- 5. Restart Your Computer:
If prompted, restart your computer to complete the installation of the feature.
- 6. Launch Windows Sandbox:
After the restart, search for Windows Sandbox in the Start menu and select it to launch the isolated environment.
Windows 10
- Check System Requirements
- Hardware Virtualization: Ensure virtualization is enabled in your PC’s BIOS or UEFI settings.
- Windows Edition: You must be running Windows 10 Pro, Enterprise, or Education.
- Enable the Feature
- Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.
- Type
optionalfeaturesand press Enter to open Turn Windows features on or off. - Scroll down the list and check the box next to Windows Sandbox.
- Click OK to install the feature.
- When prompted, restart your computer.
- Launch Windows Sandbox
- After your PC restarts, click the Start button.
- Type
Windows Sandboxin the search bar and select it from the results. - Windows Sandbox will launch, providing a clean, isolated Windows environment for testing applications or files.
