Got a textbook or a pile of PDFs you keep meaning to read? ElevenReader can turn them into natural-sounding audio so you can listen while travelling, walking, or doing chores.
ElevenLabs is offering one year of ElevenReader Ultra for $0 to eligible students and educators. This is a real offer, but a school email alone does not guarantee approval.
| The offer | What to know |
|---|---|
| Plan | ElevenReader Ultra for one year |
| Price during the offer | $0 if your school and account qualify |
| Who qualifies | Currently enrolled students or educators at eligible institutions |

Official claim page: elevenreader.io/students
How to claim it
- Open the official student offer and select “Claim your free year.”
- Sign up or log in with your school-issued email address and verify it.
- Follow the eligibility and checkout steps.
- Before confirming, check that the offer shown is one year of Ultra at $0. Then open ElevenReader and check your account’s plan status.
Your school must be on ElevenReader’s eligible institution list. If it isn’t, the student page links to a form where you can request access for your institution. Approval is not guaranteed.
What Ultra gives you
- Turn your PDFs, notes, documents, books, and web articles into spoken audio.
- Listen to your own imported content, with a fair-use limit of up to 24 hours of generated audio per day.
- Use natural voices, faster playback, bookmarks, and offline listening.
Useful limit: ElevenReader is for listening. Its offline downloads stay in the app; you cannot export the generated audio files for use in videos or other projects.

A card may be requested. Members in the thread reported a Stripe card screen, so this should not be advertised as a guaranteed no-card offer. If checkout only shows a 3-day trial or a price you did not expect, pause and check your account email and eligibility before proceeding.
It renews. ElevenReader says the student subscription automatically renews at the regular annual price after the free year unless you cancel. You can cancel renewal through Account → Manage Billing and keep access until the current year ends.
Already paying for Ultra? ElevenReader says you may need to cancel your current subscription and wait for it to expire before claiming the student offer. It does not refund subscriptions created before the offer.
No eligible school email? ElevenReader still has a free plan with 10 hours of text-to-audio per month for your own imports.
