Resend markets itself as a transactional API (password resets, OTPs). Buried in the same free account: a proper no-code Broadcasts tab — audiences, segments, unsubscribe handling, templates — and their own pricing page says it straight: “marketing plans are not limited by the number of emails sent — only by the number of contacts.” Free = 1,000 contacts, unlimited sends, no card.
proof: check their pricing page yourself, “Marketing Email” table, separate from the transactional one.
Honest catch: a handful of 2026 reviews report accounts getting suspended without warning once volume spikes — worth keeping Systeme.io as the backup, not your only account.

⚠️ Two ghosts still floating around the internet — don't chase them
“AWS SES gives 62,000 free emails/month” — dead, AWS killed it July 21, 2026. Sites still repeating that number are stale.
“Just run your own mail server, it’s free and uncapped” — real wall: AWS/Google Cloud/Azure/DigitalOcean/Vultr all block outbound port 25 by default. Only Hetzner/OVH leave it open, and that’s a paid VPS either way.
The cap was never gone — it just moved from your outbox to your contact list.

Own both halves and every email you send costs them money. So they cap you.
Own only the engine and they can say unlimited honestly. It stopped being their bill.
The test, for any tool you meet tomorrow:
Does it send the email itself, or does it ask you to paste in someone else’s login?
If it asks, it is uncapped. That is the whole trick, and it works forever.

Free website hosting that includes mail — freehosting.com and others like it — will send for nothing. You share one address with strangers, so more of your mail lands in spam. That is what the last dollar was buying.
🪤 One trap, so nobody loses a day to it
Cloudflare’s email service says sends to verified addresses never count against your quota. Reads like the loophole of the year. It means free emails to people you already verified. So: free emails to your mother. Not marketing.
🏚️ One you cannot buy
Mailchimp legacy free accounts, opened before May 2019, still run 2,000 contacts and 12,000 sends a month. New accounts get 250 and 500. Worth checking an old login before you build anything.
Does this hit what you asked for? Lane A, yes, genuinely uncapped and genuinely free. Lane B, uncapped, but eleven dollars a year unless you accept the spam folder.
And why has no list ever shown you this? A charity tool does not bid on “free email marketing”. An $11 a year server pays nobody a commission. Nobody is paid to tell you.
Unlimited is not a feature. It is a company that stopped paying to deliver your mail.
