if you wants a free vpn then browsec is the best choice.
Create a new chrome people for ftu and install chrome extesion of browsec as i am using it. it is fabolous.

brother, browsec do all the job like VPN but it is limited to the browser (as its just extension)
but other VPN’s make the virtual network for the whole system…
i.s. if torrenting or anything is blocked by your service provider then you can get access by using this VPN ( real VPN as it also does not store logs).

@jhybe Above you can surf only limited advantages by using browsec and you have no control at logs, your ISP can trace you easily what site you’re browsing.
Example: If youtube is blocked by your ISP and you use Browsec to access youtube then Browsec can only make access between your ip to youtube, But Browsec can’t do anything to hide you from your ISP. you cannot surf internet or blocked sites Anonymously your ISP can easily trace your activities and logs.

Remember, there are over 100 of VPN softwares, but only few may do the deed and protect each part.

A Proxy can only mask your real IP address and provides you any other IP address which somehow let you unblock some site

, but your internet activities are not hidden because there is no encryption, it basically just bypasses your ISP and connect you directly to the internet.

Where a VPN creates an encrypted tunnel to transfer all your internet data which keeps your activities away from snoopers, which means you get Anonymity while using the internet.
