It could be but am not sure if that is the case. But mine am receiving the email from SHEERID normally.

Use different browser e.g brave browser, duck duck go browser etc.
If it state limit exceeded on one browser you. You switch to another browser and start the claiming process from the beginning that is what happened to me too and this was what worked out for me combined with the previous fix for the SHEERID emails issue.
Still doesn’t work. I think they flagged my umgc edu account. What a bummer. I contacted support hopefully that lands me somewhere (my gut is telling me it was a bad idea though)

I used mine with vpn though without VPN can work too.
Just sharing my experience in case it helps someone.
I created my account a while ago, but I couldn’t access Outlook. Today, I logged into the Gmail account I used to create the account and found an invitation to the Orientation class. I joined, clicked the link, and completed the required formalities.
After that, I tried Outlook again, and surprisingly, it logged in automatically without any issue. 
So, if you created your account earlier but still can’t access Outlook, try logging into the Gmail account you used to create it and completing the Orientation steps.
It worked for me without a VPN

Is there a specific expiry date, or does it remain active indefinitely?

Yes it’s working. But currently you have to pay 50$ as per application fees. Umgc usually have application fee waiver at the end of almost every month so check the school website on monthly basis to see if there is application fee waiver. If it’s there then it’s your chance to apply and register for class immediately for the full activation of the edu account.
If you have registered for class just ignore this high school transcript.

Does this still work? I think you need to pay if you register at umgc. I watched your video and they wanted money or wanted proof that its me? Do you which edu mail is the best for the free 4 months chatgpt? Thanks
Yes it’s working. currently as of 1 Sept fee waiver is no longer applicable so you will have to pay 50$. UMGC is the best since you can actually get doc to upload as proof of you being a student like admission letter, registration confirmation letter, student id and class schedule.
yes but i cant pay 50 bucks lol. I dont have this money rn thanks tho
Fee waiver will always come around so just keep on checking the school website monthly especially at the end of the month.
