The Windows Registry = a giant settings cabinet where every Windows app stores its config — your wallpaper, what programs run at startup, which folders the apps remember, secret tweaks, install leftovers, etc.

Windows ships with Regedit to edit it — but Regedit is ancient. One-result-at-a-time search. No undo. No tabs. One typo = you brick your settings.

Registry Finder = the modern replacement. Same job, none of the pain.

64-bit needed? Most modern PCs = 64-bit. If unsure → check Settings → System → About → “System type”.
