Gemini Flow seems to behave differently depending on the Google account’s country. My India-based account has limitations around the image workflow, so I’m trying to understand which regions currently get the full experience and what exactly determines that eligibility — account region, billing country, or something else.

Google Flow on an India account: what decides access — and every route to the full experience
Your country already passes — the full Flow opens on the plan, and these tricks reach it from ₹0, even with no India presence.
What Google checks (all three)
- Age 18+.
- Country on Flow’s supported list — India is on it; it follows the account, not the IP — the country page shows and changes it.
- A paid AI plan on a personal account — billing country matters only at purchase.
Full = Pro. Free: 50 credits/day · Plus ₹399: limited image models · Pro ₹1,950: the full version · Ultra ₹6,500: most credits + watermark switch (Gemini apps only).
Free tricks (cheapest first)
- Jio — 18 months of Pro: Jio 5G ₹349+ → claim in
MyJio (ends 29 Oct 2026). No SIM? Rent a number at GrizzlySMS (India VPN on). Automate with JioFarm — $0.05–1 per number. - Student — 1 year Plus / Pro ₹489: claim at students page (by 31 Dec 2026). Schools: Rio Salado (~$253/credit) · New Mexico JC ($75/credit) · UNISA ($9) · UoPeople ($60). School email clears SheerID fastest.
- Referral — 4 months of Pro: 3 invite slots in Gemini from any subscriber.
- Family — seats for 5: join a family under an eligible-country manager · sharing rules.
- Device — 12 months of Pro: Pixel 10 Pro offer (ends 1 Nov 2026). No device? Free script pixel-gemini puts it on any Gmail.
Images, marks, free doors
- Flow adds a visible watermark for India; Ultra’s switch covers Gemini apps, not Flow.
- Clean outputs: API/Vertex docs — no visible mark (SynthID only). Free canvas: AI Studio.
- Free Nano Banana Pro: NotebookLM · Mixboard · free.ai (~6/day) · Kie.ai (80 free credits).
