How can I find out who is behind these fake accounts?

Someone at my school is creating TikTok accounts, harassing people, and posting terrible things about them, and some of my friends and I are getting blamed! I need to prove it wasn’t us. Is there any way to get the IP address or location where that account was created? I know it’s kind of silly, but please help! (Email or phone number of that TikTok account?)

You can’t look up the IP or email yourself — only police can force TikTok to hand that over — so have a parent file a police report today and tell the officer to send TikTok a preservation request under 18 U.S.C. § 2703(f) (this freezes all account data for 90 days even if they delete it).
